a portfolio of work
During 2020/2021, I have served as a member of the Constituency Youth Council for Member of Parliament, the Honourable Joyce Murray. As a member of this council, I am working to develop policy proposals, discussing current issues in local Canadian politics, and planning community outreach programs to engage youth in politics.
I completed a survey research experiment to test whether exposure to polls and the extent to which polls indicated either a tight or lopsided race, affected respondents' propensity to vote.
In creating our site, “Follow the Leader”, I began to take on the role of leader and project manager, developing my leadership and communication skills in order to create a collaborative project with one cohesive voice.
